the page is blank 
sometimes this feels daunting, but most days the negative space invites
Shall I write of feelings, dreams?
Shall I tell my story or interpret another’s?
what would the negative space say if no words were visible?

people could fill it in with their shadows or their own ideas.
John Cage wrote music that included silence.
The creative mind can have a field day if unafraid of judgment
