The Purpose of a Budget Book

  1. Write down things after you’ve bought them.
  2. HIghlight things you should not have bought.
  3. Add up what you’ve spent, write down total and look at it.
  4. Write down things you bought that he should have paid for.
  5. Write down amount budgeted and compare to what actually spent.Look at this.
  6. Draw mean faces next to money spent that you didn’t want to spend.
  7. Write in tiny letters amount snuck from budget to buy new caged booties.
  8. Draw smiley face next to money put in savings (last month: $4.36)
  9. Use book to swat fly.
  10. Look at Income column. Throw book.
